As its name clearly implies, Movavi Screen Video Capture allows you to both take screenshots of your entire desktop or a selected area and capture on video anything that happens on your desktop or any images coming in through your webcam. You can use this tool to take snapshots of specific apps, create tutorials and presentations, record Skype calls or produce your personal YouTube videos, among other things.
The program has the new Movavi look and feel – elegant dark colors for the interface and seamless interaction with other Movavi tools that are either available as standalone apps or appear in other Movavi products. This is the case of the audio capture and video editing tools.
Anything that happens on your screen – including video signals coming from other devices connected to your PC – can be captured by this program either as an image, a video or an audio file or as a combination of them. You can start any of these processes easily using the hotkeys provided (which you can customize to fit your needs) and even schedule specific video recordings and screenshots using its simple capture scheduler (ideal for screencasts). You can select what to grab – the entire desktop, an active window, or a selected area of the screen.
